This year’s (2011) edition of the Reconstruction of the Battle of White Mountain took place on September 17 and 18. We had a beautiful day on Saturday and that’s why there was a lot of participation :).
In addition to the battle, the spectators were treated to a large number of stalls, snakes, predators, performances by musical groups and also a new dance performance by the Animata Scenic Historical Dance Group. It rained on Sunday and it got noticeably colder, despite the bad weather there were so many spectators that they completely occupied the stands and almost the entire section of the perimeter of the battlefield reserved for them. A big thank you to these die-hard fans for sticking with us until the final shot, dance step and tone of this fabulous weekend. 🙂
The photos are from a rainy Sunday afternoon. The author of the shots of the dance performance is Darja Sedmíková, the author of the shots from the battle and the final editing of all photos is myself. Have a nice day.
